Job Description: Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor at Coloplast, you will be responsible for supporting and ensuring the success of our manufacturing lines and employees. This role involves meeting and/or exceeding weekly output goals, improving processes, and developing employees through training and other opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Implement Lean principles to optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Work with the Planner to ensure build plan adherence and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and materials teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Partner with other departments to support production requirements for project work.
  • Conduct Performance Development Plans (PDPs) and reviews for staff members.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with engineering and R&D teams.
  • Analyze production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments and projects.
  • Enforce safety regulations and establish or adjust work schedules to meet production requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems and Lean/Six Sigma techniques.
  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is desirable.

Desired Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
