The Job Description

This position is responsible for preparing breads and pastries, including doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced bakery environment and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
  2. Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
  3. Keep Chef informed of excess food items for planning of daily specials.
  4. Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.
  5. Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
