The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Biological Research Scientist to provide microbiological support for our facility. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sterilization processes and be able to analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for facility issues in the areas of sterilization, environmental monitoring, and microbiological methods
• Record review of routine microbiological test results
• Routine release of manufactured product
• Handles routine out of specification test results, or more complex out of specification issues
• Data analysis of sterilization processes
• Participate in audits of sterilization, test lab, and biological product vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Microbiology, Chemical Engineer, Biotechnology Engineer or related field
• 2 years of working experience on similar roles as a Microbiologist
• 2 years' experience in sterilization
• Articulates microbiology technical concepts well
• Must have knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's), Bacteriology and use of lab equipment such as Laminar Flow Hoods, Autoclaves, Incubators, pH meter, analytical balance, etc.
• Advance Commands of English required
