**Role Summary**

We're looking for a skilled IT Service Desk Administrator to join our team at Avionyx S.A. As a key member of our IT department, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our employees.

Your primary focus will be on managing our ticket system, providing Tier 1/2 support for end-user requests, remote software installs, hardware warranty requests, and basic diagnostics to escalate to tier 2/3 administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage infrastructure, including Zoom & Microsoft Teams room AV administration, deployment, and vendor management
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software as needed by the team
  • Manage service queues and route tickets to IT Site Administrators as appropriate for higher-tier support
  • Manage and order inventory as needed
  • Install software remotely
  • Diagnose issues with computer software and peripherals

Essential Skills:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of IT service administration experience
  • Basic knowledge of server systems, software & hardware deployment tools, and networking protocols
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing service desk and IT operations best practices, including security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
