We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at Virtual Staffing Llc. The successful candidate will have experience in Immigration law and be able to perform a variety of tasks to support lawyers.
**Job Tasks:**
- Draft and file documents in court
- Request medical bills/records
- Prepare notices and schedule depositions
- Write demand letters
- Write letters of representation and motions
- Coordinate with opposing counsels and medical practitioners
- Sort documents in case folders
- Create a record chart and record summary for each client case
- Draft pleadings and petitions
- Draft Petitions and Discovery
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree required; Law graduate or currently in Law School
- Personal Injury law experience required
- Solid knowledge of legal terminology, legal procedure, and substantive law
- Understanding of the principles of legal writing
- Knowledge of attorney-client relationships applicable to the performance of major duties and responsibilities of the position
- Master skills in basic principles, concepts, and methodology of legal proceedings and legal research
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with databases and online technological platforms
- Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible
- Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up
- Proficient command of the English language in both oral and written format
- Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various backgrounds and professional competencies
- Committed to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of the company, the firm, and its clients
**What we offer:**
- USD $6 to $8 per hour (40 hrs per week)
