Viant Medical is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team in Costa Rica.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled EHS Specialist to support our occupational health and safety programs. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, implementing good health and safety practices, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and develop corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective safety procedures and protocols.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on EHS best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of EHS-related activities and metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in EHS management systems at a manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
