Job Description

This position is a key member of the Zoetis team responsible for executing and leading overall P2P activities depending on the area (PSC, PEI, HD, Payment, Accounts Payable). The successful candidate will be based in Costa Rica and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Requisition Processing and Approval: Manage the entire lifecycle of purchase requisitions from initiation to closure, ensuring timely approvals and adherence to company policies.
  • Ariba Profile Approval: Verify and approve Ariba profiles to ensure accurate and compliant data management.
  • PO and Non-PO Invoice Processing: Oversee the processing and payment of invoices, including PO-based and non-PO-based invoices, to ensure timely payments and reconciliation.
  • Invoice Resolution: Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and errors, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on operations.
  • Account Reconciliation and Analysis: Perform account reconciliations and analyze open items under P2P scope, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Tickets Resolution: Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to P2P processes, providing timely support and escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Payment Cycles: Manage payment cycles, ensuring timely disbursements and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Special Payments Request: Coordinate and process special payments requests, ensuring accurate and compliant processing.
  • 1099 Reporting: Prepare and submit 1099 reports, adhering to US guidelines and deadlines.
  • SOX Audit Records Management Review: Conduct regular reviews of SOX audit records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • JE Entries: Perform journal entries to record financial transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies.
  • Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist in closing out AP modules at month-end and year-end, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting.
  • Professional Educational Interaction (PEI): Participate in PEI sessions, providing education and training on P2P processes and systems to employees, outsourced providers, and suppliers.
