About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EHS Supervisor to join our team in Costa Rica. As an EHS Supervisor, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our people and environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of EHS programs, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and accident investigations. You will also develop and maintain safety programs and procedures, provide EHS training, and encourage a safe work culture.
- Ensure the workplace adheres to all applicable laws and J&J standards
- Lead all aspects of permitting processes
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
- Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent future occurrences
- Develop and maintain safety programs and procedures for design, construction, commissioning and operational readiness stages
Responsibilities
* Provide EHS training and orientation for employees and contractors
* Encourage a safe work culture through communication and awareness programs
* Lead the development and implementation of EHS programs across departments within the business unit
* Oversee emergency response planning and preparedness
