We are looking for a talented Sr. Python Developer to join our team at Moody's Technology Services Group - Service Management.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-native solutions on AWS, collaborating with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces, and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality.
You will also have the opportunity to:
- Work with a team of experienced developers to design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and tools.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in Python development.
- 2-3 years of experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest.
- Knowledge of app-development using Slack or Teams is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with managing Docker images and containers.
- A good understanding of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
