Pharmacovigilance Associate

Role Overview
This position plays a critical role in supporting the pharmacovigilance function at Pfizer, ensuring the safe and effective use of our products. As a Medical Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing adverse event reports, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of adverse event reports, verifying accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality reporting
- Develop and maintain expertise on Pfizer's products, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures
- Provide support to colleagues and external partners as needed
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience in database management an asset
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred
