Citi is a leading global bank that operates in over 160 countries. The Client organization, which includes firm-wide Marketing, focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences through a centralized view of client strategy, segmentation, and coverage models.

The Marketing Finance team oversees the budget and enhances financial analytics around ongoing marketing investments across lines of business, including USPB, Wealth, and EMBE. Key focus areas include driving process enhancements, analytical rigor, and deepening insights into marketing investments. Additionally, the team provides strategic CFO support to the firm's Chief Marketing Officer.

We seek a highly analytical and dynamic individual to support the team. This person will partner closely with leaders across Network, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, and Finance to execute critical priorities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Marketing Expense Management: ensuring delivery of planned marketing expenses, contra, and core KPIs, as well as direct expenses.
  • Analyzing results against plans and assessing risk and opportunity to support timely business decisions.
  • Responding quickly and accurately to urgent requirements and senior management data needs.
  • Driving continuous enhancement of governance and controls, and supporting FP&A transformation efforts within Finance.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with businesses, analytics, regional, and corporate finance teams.
  • Driving process improvements and enhanced financial rigor within internal marketing investment approval and optimization processes.
  • Syndicating key messages with senior Business leaders to garner key stakeholder engagement.

**Qualifications:

  • 7 years of relevant experience in financial services.
  • Expertise in financial modeling.
  • Excellent team collaboration and partnership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • A pro-active self-starter who can continue to push concepts forward with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize effectively and resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Extensive background in financial planning, business analytics, and related finance disciplines.
  • Advanced English language proficiency is mandatory.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
