About the Role

The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for the development of Tether backend components, New Products and Features, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.

This role requires expertise in developing scalable, high-performance, and secure backend services, implementing microservices architecture and Peer-to-Peer technologies, ensuring seamless interaction with databases (MySQL, MongoDB), and maintaining good understanding of security practices and high-availability concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Node/JavaScript skills
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and Peer-to-Peer technologies
  • Experience with interacting with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
  • Nice to have: Experience with blockchain integration, Ruby, Rust or C++ skills, Message queues (Redis), Caches, and Job Queues
