Auxis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective processing of all payables, travel & expense, and/or vendor control transactions.
Salary
$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and coding invoices accurately and efficiently. You will also verify invoices for appropriate documentation, approvals, and accurate general ledger coding. Additionally, you will resolve complex issues and discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.
You will coordinate with vendors and suppliers to address inquiries, resolve disputes, and ensure timely and accurate payments. Furthermore, you will prepare and process payment batches, including checks, wire transfers, and electronic payments, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Accounts Payable Professional, are a plus. You will also require significant experience (3+ years) in accounts payable or a similar finance role, with progressive responsibilities.
You should have extensive knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures. Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems, with Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, is also essential.
