We are seeking an experienced Accountant II to join our team at Tech Data Corporation. As an Accountant II, you will play a critical role in performing daily and monthly accounting processes and transactions, including various account analyses and/or account reconciliations. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly accounting processes and transactions, including general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
- Conduct various account analyses and reconciliations, including cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Identify, research, and resolve issues impacting financial statements, such as variances and discrepancies.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial/analytical support to various departments, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute opportunities for process improvements.
Education:
- Associate's degree minimum; Bachelor's or above preferred.
Experience:
- Approximately 5-8 years experience in Accounting or Finance.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
