The role of a Data Quality Manager at Citi is to lead a team responsible for operational/service leadership and direction in coordination with the Data Quality team. The overall objective is to provide value-added perspectives or advisory services, contributing to the development of new techniques, models, and plans within the area of Data Quality.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and diplomacy skills, with responsibility for volume, quality, and timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. They will work to ensure that functions are compliant with Citigroup Data Management Policy and define strategies to drive data quality measurement, produce data quality dashboards and reports, and implement data quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in defining and establishing appropriate data standards, understanding the data needs of regulatory and internal reporting, the acquisition of that data, the financial reconciliation and Data Quality measurement of that data, and fixing issues at source through the Issue Management Resolution process and other transformation programs.
- Works to ensure that functions are compliant with Citigroup Data Management Policy.
- Defines strategies to drive data quality measurement, produce data quality dashboards and reports, and implement data quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve data quality.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Data Management.
- 5+ years of management problem-solving skills.
- Problem Solving - Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations.
- Previous experience with Citi systems/processes including Fullsuite, GENESIS, PEARL, Data Standards, DSMT, Controlled Vocabularies, etc.
- Advanced English Required.
