Svg Global is seeking an experienced Strategic IT Project Director to lead mid-sized projects and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a leadership role and has managed at least 1 or 2 mid-sized projects (11-30 FTE projects) involving multiple process interfaces, multiple functions/sites, and overall medium to high risk. They should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP top 10 concepts.
In this role, you will establish scope of work based on client inputs and business needs and is responsible for estimating budget and effort of the project. You will independently lead mid-sized projects, ensuring stakeholder buy-in, establishing and maintaining a project communication plan, defining phase deliverables, tracking milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, scheduling resources, evaluating risks, and highlighting dependencies.
You will collect and analyze project metrics and navigate and step up in ambiguous situations. The successful candidate will work with Architects, Designers, Senior Testers, and Business Analysts at a technological and functional level to ensure that the solution meets business needs.
Requirements:
- PMP or 5 years of experience working on global projects
- IAITAM Certification preferred (CSAM or CITAM)
- At least 3 years of experience working on projects related to IT Software Asset Management or similar area
- Experience working in geographically disperse teams
- Proficient in MS project
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
