**About the Role**
This Silicon Design Engineering Director role involves leading a team of physical design engineers in the implementation of complex chip designs, subsystems, or blocks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a team of physical design engineers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Analyze layout designs, power delivery, place, route, clock tree synthesis, and other aspects of physical design.
- Manage development of complex layout integrated circuit designs, simulation designs, RTL to GDS, logic synthesis, and oversee documentation for SoC development.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor of Engineering degree or Master of Science degree in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent required. At least 3 years of experience as Team Manager and building a Team is necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- 5+ years in SOC, CPU or other silicon physical design environment.
- Ability to communicate well with counterparts and key stakeholders including cross-site partners.
- Advanced English level.
