Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Executive Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort in Los Cabos. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to our high standards.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures
• Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout the shift

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a pastry chef or baker
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
