As a Senior Analog Circuit Designer for our Wireless and Wireline Communications Systems team, you will play a critical role in developing high-performance monolithic integrated circuits using CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, and GaAs process technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop complex analog and mixed-signal electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for wireless and wireline communications systems.
- Determine creative design approaches and parameters to meet performance requirements.
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests to evaluate results.
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability, and evaluate the practical capability of vendors to support product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and implementation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical engineering position, preferably in semiconductor development.
- Strong background and knowledge in hardware architecture, analog, and mixed-signal design and implementation.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, with emphasis on Python.
- Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency.
- Possession of permanent, unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
- Experience with simulation and validation tools, including Verilog and System Verilog.
- Knowledge of IO protocols, DFT architectures, and design concepts such as timing jitter margining, squelch equalization, and statistical data analysis.
- Experience with silicon debug and characterization of new products, including collaboration with platform and system level validation teams.
- Familiarity with high-frequency signal integrity concepts and frequency domain S-parameter and time domain metrics.
- Experience with PCB physical layout analysis and design recommendations.
