Capital Planning Analyst

- Support the enhancement of the Capital Planning / CCAR / FP&A model framework, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and forecasting accuracy.
- Execute quarterly multi-year forecasting processes and annual Recovery and Resolution planning activities, collaborating closely with product teams and Corporate FP&A.
- Analyze macro-economic scenarios, consumer behaviors, and trends to evaluate forecasting results and provide justifications for overlays and adjustments.
- Work collaboratively with US consumer product partners and modeling teams to enhance regression models and drive capital optimization strategies through enhanced methodologies.
- Develop and deliver P&L results, forecasting analysis, and trend comparisons, preparing analytics and results to support senior management reviews.
- Collaborate with Long-term planning team members to execute activities under tight deadlines and respond to requests from Model Validation teams, Internal Audit, Regulators, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis in a large corporate environment;
- 3+ years banking experience and previous FP&A or similar Finance experience preferred;
- Financial product knowledge, particularly in Consumer Banking, is preferred;
- Excellent quantitative/analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to details;
- Change agent mentality to drive process enhancements and simplification, with demonstrated ability to lead;
- Ability to work independently with a proven track record of solving problems and delivering solutions;
- Experience working effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment within a matrix organization;
- Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills (VBA and Access a plus);
- Knowledge of systems like Hyperion, SAS, Essbase, etc., is a plus;
- Advanced English language proficiency.
