Job Description:
As an Order Management Specialist I at Emerson, you will be responsible for reviewing customer purchase orders in business systems, verifying accuracy and completeness of information supplied by the customer, and ensuring timely order booking and delivery. You will act as the primary contact for customers, working closely with inside sales, sales force, factories, and other quote to cash teams to resolve purchase order issues or collect missing information. This role requires proactive communication to provide a positive customer experience, analyze information in systems to make informed decisions, and maintain updated customer information in business systems and other databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of import/export regulations, contract requirements, and government regulations.
