At Moody's, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The role involves providing support through all phases of the financial planning and analysis processes, including business partnering and working on cross-functional projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide support on analytical, forecasting, month-end, and variance analysis reporting, as well as ad-hoc projects based on business needs.

- Offer intermediate/advanced support to the preparation of monthly reports and variance analysis, helping to identify key focus areas for management.

- Assist in the input of forecast and budget projections and adjustments into Moody's financial reporting system.

- Contribute to business planning processes and deliverables, including forecast, budget, and 5-year strategic plans, and provide driver-based outputs for discussion with management.

- Work closely with local, regional, and global contacts to foster good working relationships with the rest of the organization.

- Develop new reporting solutions and identify key focus areas for management.

- Recommend and implement standard methodologies for process enhancements and reporting, including identifying areas for productivity and standardizing activities across business planning.

- Conduct financial KPI analysis, compare anticipated and actual results, and research historical financial data and trends to identify and recommend areas for improvement.

- Create and update financial models to support central initiatives and critical decisions through financial projections and metrics.

- Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to other team members.

- Collaborate on special projects assigned by Finance management.

Requirements:

- Studying towards a post-graduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a quantitative field.

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning or equivalent.

- Excellent verbal and written English skills.

- Detail and data quality oriented, with the ability to summarize and communicate findings effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial modeling, and related financial systems.

- Advanced analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Intermediate knowledge of basic accounting concepts.

- Applies knowledge and problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems.

- Ability to handle large volumes of data while ensuring data accuracy.

- Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist in decision-making.
