This role is responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies in interactions with healthcare professionals, medical associations, and other business parties.
About the Role
This Financial Transaction Specialist will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and comply with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with MAPP policy, Country Annexes, and other relevant policies related to payments.
- Document all payment information in MAPP Navigator, Ariba, Aravo, Reltio, and other necessary systems according to established processes.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues from different hierarchies, including GBS colleagues, MAPP colleagues, Initiators, Product Leads, Category Leads, Medical Directors, Compliance Leads, Legal Department, Finance, and Country Managers.
- Ensure contracts and funding confirmation letters are properly documented before creating payments.
- Create payments, monitor progress, handle unexpected situations, and register payments on MAPP Navigator within a 20-day time frame on Ariba BOD.
- Provide support to market colleagues on inquiries regarding payments, vendor creations, invoice uploads, and other related issues.
- Troubleshoot system issues related to payments, create tickets, and follow up with the technical team.
- Develop creative and interactive training materials for new users and refresh processes and key concepts among experienced users.
- Complete payments status reports and follow up with markets on pending vendor creations, event confirmations, and other related tasks.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of MAPP/FCPA terms and compliance controls.
- Knowledge of Ariba, MDGS, and SAP to create payments, read vendor master data, and investigate failed payments.
- Excellent analytical skills, customer service skills, and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Fluency in Spanish, English, and proficiency in Portuguese or French.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently with limited oversight.
Work Environment
This role requires working from home three days a week and from the office two days a week, with flexibility to adjust based on business needs. Relocation expenses are not covered, and the selected candidate must be able to come to the office. Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer.
