Security Architect

At GSB, we are seeking a highly skilled Applications Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems.

• Conduct thorough security reviews of applications using SAST, DAST, and penetration testing techniques.
• Design and implement secure architecture for our applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain threat models to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Collaborate with internal development teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
• Develop and maintain security guidance documentation for our development teams.
• Deliver security metrics and insights to inform risk-based decisions.
• Build strong relationships with product teams to drive security risk decisions and initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in secure coding, threat modeling, identity management, software development, and network security.

• Understanding of network and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols).
• Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Python, Perl, etc.).
• Understanding of web services and applied knowledge of securing AWS, Azure, and other public cloud providers.
• Experience with common security vulnerabilities on web applications.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Ability to assess security risks within an application.
• Demonstrable teamwork skills and resourcefulness.
• Possess self-drive to keep moving things forward even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge.

• Universitario (Graduado) degree.
• Avanzado level of English.
