You will be a key member of Medtronic's Supply Chain team in Costa Rica.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include:

  • Analyzing and developing long-term supply chain strategies to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
  • Performing root cause analysis to identify service risks and implementing mitigation actions.
  • SUPPORTING business execution of new programs and initiatives, including transportation cost optimization, new product launches, and network redesigns.
  • Monitoring key sales and operations planning performance indicators across cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
  • Extracting informed insights on key business analytics from KPI dashboards.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders regarding deployment projections, constraints, allocation decisions, etc.
  • Identifying and implementing process changes or system improvements to enhance on-time delivery performance.
  • Providing comprehensive insights on distribution requirements, backorder projections, and more.
  • Distributing regular reports.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree required.

Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.

Excellent verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills with good articulation of Supply Chain concepts.

Strong data analytics expertise, Excel.

Nice to Have

Experience in Supply or Distribution Planning.

Knowledge or certification of SAP, Power BI, Lean Six Sigma, APICS desired.

High level of integrity and accountability, curiosity, and inquisitiveness.

Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and deliver concise updates to various stakeholders.
