**Maintenance Technician II - Equipment Maintenance Specialist**:

Amentum seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician II - Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the facilities maintenance team, the selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company\'s buildings, facilities and equipment in an operating and functional condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Under minimal supervision, completes tasks that are frequently non-routine.
  2. Resolves most problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
  3. Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.
  4. Utilizes a wide variety of hand and portable power tools.
  5. May install minor modifications when needed.
  6. May periodically assist in orienting and training lower level employees.
  7. Performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities, equipment, fixtures, and systems.
  8. Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains facility systems.
  9. Performs work based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules.
  10. Reviews work as required to document specific needs (materials, supplies, instructions, etc).
  11. Assists in the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment as required.
  12. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  13. Works with or oversees subcontractor activities as directed by supervisor or work schedule.
  14. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

High school graduate or demonstrated equivalent. 2 years of experience in area of specialization.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position involves working in environments where mechanical equipment, weapons, etc. are being installed, tested, analyzed/monitored, operated, and/or maintained. Equipment may be loud and noisy or have exposed moving components. Such positions may involve routine lifting up to 50 pounds, regular handling, grasping, kneeling and carrying, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Additional Responsibilities:
