About the Role
As a Cpq Commercialization Analyst, you will play a crucial part in driving commercial growth by streamlining processes for product introductions, deal policies, commercial programs, and offers/promotions. Your role will involve executing large-scale projects while developing strategic plans to enhance day-to-day operations.
This position will report directly to the Commercial Operations team within the COO organization.
- Deliver multiple commercial offer launches per quarter to support revenue growth
- Develop repeatable offer & commercial policy designs that can scale with the business while allowing for experimentation
- Improve commercial launch quality by reducing the time between ideation and market launch
- Enhance system readiness and seller adoption through User Acceptance Testing and documentation
- Increase customer adoption of new products by simplifying purchasing and contracting with Databricks
- Solve complex business problems by breaking them down into actionable steps
- Enable cross-functional teams (Marketing, Revenue, Order Management, Deal Desk, IT, etc.) to execute on various Commercialization efforts
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in executing pricing operations and providing critical analytical insights
- Experience running Commercial Offer projects, including promotions, commercial policies, and customer incentives
- Proficiency with quote-to-cash systems (Netsuite, CPQ, Salesforce) and project management tools (Smartsheet)
- Ability to design and perform User Acceptance Testing, create data-driven storytelling, and draft step-by-step documentation
- Expertise in working effectively across multiple teams in ambiguous situations
- Experience implementing and managing services and support pricing programs
- Collaboration skills using tools like Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, etc.
