About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of creating a better tomorrow. You'll work closely with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, document, and support cloud platform capabilities using AWS best practices (fault tolerant, High Availability, security, etc)
  • Automate tasks to prevent unwanted conditions as well as automate tasks to recover from unexpected events
  • Develop, test, and execute SQL queries to aid in the investigation and analysis of issues
  • Perform advanced technical troubleshooting for cloud and e-commerce environments
  • Document and implement workaround solutions wherever possible
  • Document steps to reproduce for resolution with internal and external resources
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical instructions for future reference and use by support teams
  • Create/manage production/staging support tickets
  • Communicating with both internal and external customers to achieve ticket resolution as quickly as possible
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support production incidents
  • Mentor and guide junior members on the team to achieve team goals

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years' experience in a system administrator role with at least 2 years supporting DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management
  • Strong knowledge of the DevOps toolchain (CI/CD) on the AWS Linux platform: Jenkins, Nexus OSS < Artifactory, Harness, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy, GitHub, GitLab, Chocolaty, CloudFormation, JIRA, Travis, etc.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Mastery of fault tolerant approaches in a large-scale environment and high-performance systems
  • Thorough knowledge in all aspects of designing and developing large, real-time systems
  • Operationally savvy, experience with monitoring, alerting, and analyzing system metrics to root cause problems and explain system behavior
  • At least 5 years' experience with Linux, SSH, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL, Shell Scripting, and JavaScript
  • Experience developing or supporting sites using API and SDK integration
  • Knowledge of Linux, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and MySQL
  • Experience with Splunk, DataDog, JIRA, and Service Now
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and implementing web technologies
  • Strong client-facing communications skills by providing timely and frequent updates to clients through Service Now
  • Demonstrates critical thinking capabilities and follows through with internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent job experience)
  • Work with management to measure and improve customer satisfaction
