Job Title: Medical Transcription Specialist

Philippines Outsourcing Solution is a staffing company that recruits, hires, and manages long-term remote staff for growing businesses in the USA.

Type of Work: Full-time, permanent
Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm EST (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately transfer data from healthcare providers into database systems
  • Create and manage databases with high attention to detail
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data and produce reports as required
  • Retrieve data efficiently as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort, organize, and store data effectively
  • Transcribe medical documents with precision

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Experience: At least 2 recent years in US Healthcare

Mandatory Skills:

  • Previous experience in scribe or related roles
  • Bedside experience
  • Knowledgeable in medical jargon
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Excellent knowledge of word-processing tools
  • Great attention to detail
  • Fast learner with accurate typing skills

Salary Range: $800 - $950 per month
