Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in materials and processes related to key manufacturing areas, including sputtering, electroplating, and screen printing. This will involve working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop product and process technology roadmaps, documenting process methodologies, and creating training materials.
In addition, the Manufacturing Process Expert will propose enhancements to new and existing product designs to optimize manufacturability, coordinate with on-site manufacturing and quality engineers, and interface with suppliers to evaluate new materials and equipment.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide subject matter expertise in materials and processes related to key manufacturing areas
- Develop product and process technology roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Document process methodologies and create training materials
- Propose enhancements to new and existing product designs to optimize manufacturability
- Coordinate with on-site manufacturing and quality engineers
- Interface with suppliers to evaluate new materials and equipment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
