**Job Summary**

The calibration coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful operation of the maintenance department by overseeing clerical activities.

This entails locating and submitting equipment for calibration, creating databases and managing hard-copy records, as well as maintaining inventory parts within the department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Equipment Calibration: Locate and submit equipment for calibration to ensure optimal performance.
  • Database Management: Develop and maintain databases to track inventory, equipment, and other relevant information.
  • Record Keeping: Organize and maintain accurate hard-copy records of inventory, equipment, and other pertinent data.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure timely ordering and restocking of inventory parts to meet departmental needs.

**Requirements:**

  • Education: A degree in Quality Control or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
    • Management skills to oversee clerical activities and ensure smooth operations.
    • Multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in database and information systems required by the department.
