This role is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of debts and accurate month-end aging reconciliations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supports collection efforts for outstanding debts owed, including contacting customers and following up on uncollectible and delinquent accounts.
- Responsible for month-end aging Accounts Receivable related reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Develops and maintains Accounts Receivable/Credit work instructions / processes, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
- Reviews and supports refunds to customers, short paid invoices for proper documentation.
- Interfaces with order management to ensure timely invoicing, resolve invoicing discrepancies, prepare credit memos as required.
- Prepares and processes invoices and customer statements.
- Reviews & posts daily cash receipts from Accounts Receivable customers and investigates unapplied payments to ensure payments are posted correctly.
- Researches account disputes and billing discrepancies.
- Create and maintain accurate customer profiles in the accounting ERP system.
- Addresses Accounts Receivable related inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Medium technician in accounting or related studies.
- Must have proven 3-5 years' work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Some experience working in accounts receivable area in multinational manufacturing companies preferred.
- Must have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
- Must be proficient in English and in MS Office.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must have a high degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must have the capability to work in multiple ERP systems.
