Job Description
This role will report to and work closely with our Senior Compliance Analyst based in the United Kingdom. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and completing KYC onboarding requests in a timely fashion.
- Responding to external counterparty KYC requests.
- Creating data setup requests for new counterparties and counterparty data updates.
- Implementing the company's third-party management process, including due diligence on customers and suppliers, review of brokers, tracking third-party certifications, etc.
- Maintaining the onboarding shared outlook mailbox by responding timely with accurate information to both external and internal customers.
- Collaborating with all levels of the company to establish appropriate compliance processes and controls within areas of responsibility.
- Assisting in developing ESG-related KYC policies and procedures.
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the front office.
- Creative analysis of business processes and development of solutions that utilize new and existing technologies to improve overall process efficiencies.
Key Requirements
- Advanced English fluency.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with a relevant field of study; Master's Degree or other relevant compliance credentials highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of ESG/sustainability due diligence requirements and supply chain due diligence.
- Knowledge of global financial crimes regulations, such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act, and AML and sanctions regulations, and data privacy laws.
- Unquestioned level of ethics and professionalism to work with privileged and confidential information.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills, with particular focus on excellent business writing and presentation skills.
- Experience with due diligence research tools, e-discovery tools (e.g., Microsoft Advanced E-Discovery, Relativity), etc.
- Familiarity with commodities and trading a plus.
- Additional language skills a plus.
