We are expanding our team at Bill Gosling Outsourcing in Heredia, Costa Rica. Our company is looking for a Soft Collections Agent to work with us.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively negotiate payment terms and arrangements with customers who are 1 to 5 months late on their bills. They will also review account status information thoroughly to understand customer inquiries and needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound and taking inbound calls to arrange payment.
  • Negotiating payment terms/arrangements if applicable.
  • Reviewing account status/information thoroughly to understand the customer's inquiry/need.
  • Overcoming consumer objections.
  • Engaging with customers on all inbound/outbound calls, emails, and other channels of communication applicable and/or supports to update customer's account information.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Customer Service is preferred.
  • English Proficiency of CEFR B2 / 85% or better.
  • Successful completion of high school education is preferred.
