Job Summary

Pfizer's Global Business Services (GBS) Shared Services is a well-established operation with a strong presence in various regions. As a S2P Junior Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting key procure-to-pay activities, including day-to-day operations, basic support, and troubleshooting purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor master data, and invoices/credits cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize workload, prioritize, and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
  • Own process resolution from start to finish, ensuring the best possible outcome.
  • Work with S2P Management to find solutions to issues that may arise.
  • Maintain and exceed metrics and goals.
  • Take initiative to support our Digital Finance strategy.
  • Actively support our GBS value proposition by keeping processes aligned with our delivery model and global standard, enhancing our internal controls structures.
  • Support in-house processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and small project collaborations.
  • Manage relationships with key contacts and colleagues of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ensure proper process execution, understanding our SOP, Work Instructions, Job Aids, and Desktop Procedures, and proposing updates when necessary.
  • Work with internal colleagues on implementing different initiatives throughout the S2P area.
  • Support the management team and other colleagues as needed.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to new colleagues.
  • Escalation process understanding and application within the team.
  • Know and comprehend the cycle of the process involved, being able to assess the impact of actions in a broader picture of the organization.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge application of the systems landscape and support ad-hoc requests and reporting.
  • Desire participation in Make it Possible initiatives across the site.
  • Support departmental reporting as required.
  • Strong compliance understanding and ensure commitment to the control environment through training and review.
  • Self-motivated, works of own initiative with guidance or support from Management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative.

Education and Experience

  • University degree/ongoing University studies or technical high school degree in a finance-related field.
  • 0 – 2 Years' Experience

Technical Skills Requirements

  • Basic Office Knowledge
  • Basic accounting/finance knowledge
  • Desired experience in multinationals, shared services, or finance-related if applicable
  • Intermediate English

Physical Position Requirements

  • Standard Finance and Accounting Office work
  • Ability to travel to attend meetings domestically and Internationally
