About the Role

As a Microbiology Specialist at Boston Scientific Corporation, you will play a key part in ensuring the success of our manufacturing site by establishing and maintaining robust quality systems. This includes creating procedures related to microbiology and sterilization to meet regulatory requirements, corporate policies, internal policies, and business needs.

You will be responsible for supporting controlled environment rooms and critical systems qualification processes, establishing and maintaining monitoring programs, and serving as a senior matter expert on sterilization and microbiology. Additionally, you will lead the establishment of microbiology lab procedures, oversee validation of new equipment, review test results, and may supervise technical personnel.

This role requires a licentiature degree in biotechnology, microbiology, chemical, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. Desired knowledge includes sterilization of medical devices, microbiology control for cleanrooms, and controlled environment qualification.
