**Job Overview:**
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of commercial activity and administration of overall 3rd Party Goods and Services Procurement for various Emerson Group Offices Worldwide. This role supports the Global 3rd party goods and services team activities during the Project Procure-to-Pay Cycle.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Choose the appropriate commercial obligations to follow technical specifications and requirements established for Projects.
- Place Purchase Orders for tangible goods and/or purchase agreements for custom equipment and subcontracts for services based on project requirements.
- Develop and issue RFx documents, supplier communications, negotiations, BID reconciliation, recommendations for award, order drafting, and placement.
**Qualifications and Skills:*
- Quality control requisitions.
- Ascertains if requisitions are complete and in accordance with project documents.
- Develops supplier lists for solicitation from ASL, master supplier lists, and area knowledge.
- Responsible for short-form request for quotation (RFQ) process and long-form RFQ process.
- Bid comparison, rationalization, and analysis.
- Price negotiations, payment terms, and other T&Cs.
- Supplier recommendation for award to management.
- Maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system data to ensure accuracy during the entire Procure-to-Pay cycle.
