About the Role

As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee a team of embedded quality testers and test automation engineers in San Jose, Costa Rica. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership in career planning, goal setting, performance assessment, coaching, performance improvement, compensation, conflict resolution, and other people management tasks.
  • Collaborating with product managers, usability, development, and other software supporting teams to ensure high levels of product quality.
  • Driving day-to-day delivery, development, test, coordination, and supporting activities in a larger, global engineering organization.
  • Growing and evolving our quality practices and aligning with other high growth teams.
About You

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5-6 years of quality management experience in a product delivery organization leading a team of 5 or more.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Excellent planning, estimating, and scheduling skills.
  • Strong mentoring, supervisory and team building skills.
  • Strong automation skills and understanding how the frameworks work together and are best used.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, OpenStack).
  • Knowledge of web services (REST, Web Sockets), Single Page Applications (SPA), SQL and No-SQL Databases.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and supporting tools a plus.
