Accounting Manager Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including support to clients as they work with and understand these processes.
You will perform accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution. Your primary goal is to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating and implementing accounting work and projects as assigned. You will also generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
A key aspect of this role is analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. You will compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information or data.
In addition, you will balance credit card ledgers, verify contracts for groups, and perform credit reference checks for direct billed groups if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; no work experience required.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Finance and Accounting or related major; 2 years experience in finance and accounting or related professional area.
