As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly VAT/IVA returns in various tax jurisdictions globally. You will verify sales and purchase invoices for compliance with VAT purposes and assist in implementing VAT reporting technology to automate these processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual VAT/IVA filings in various tax jurisdictions globally
- Initiate and coordinate VAT/IVA payments
- Prepare corrective VAT/IVA returns
- Reconcile tax liability GL accounts for VAT/IVA
- Assist with external, internal and fiscal tax audit queries
- Provide support with day-to-day VAT / IVA queries related to fuel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in accounting or finance
- Advanced English skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Excise and VAT tax
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, lookups, pivots, formulas and macros
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Additional European language is a plus
