Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Accountant to join our team at Betterwho. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing financial tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Property Managers, Maintenance team, and upper management to ensure seamless communication.
- Process accounting tasks in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring attention to detail.
- Daily AP - input invoices, pay bills, and review utility bills history for any spikes in usage or duplicate billing.
- Daily AR - review aging receivables and batch deposit Housing Authority payments.
- Perform Bank Reconciliations for West America Karimian Rental account and Umpqua Bank Trust account.
- Year End & Month End Close-Out, Commercial NNN CAM & Tax Reconciliations annually, 1099-M & 1099-NEC preparation, Delinquency reports, and more.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Proven knowledge and experience in a financial services environment.
- Outstanding analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical and written skills.
Employment Details:
- Full-time, 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday.
- Experience level: Intermediate (3 - 5 yrs).
- Languages: English, Spanish.
- Salary: $8-10 USD per hour, with a review within 3 months.
