**About the Role:**
The **Product Packaging Sustaining Engineer** will be responsible for managing and developing a team that works across functions to drive packaging and labeling development from Design Freeze through retirement.
This role includes management of product sustaining engineering activities for pre- and post-marketed products through the product's life cycle. The individual in this position will monitor and train the Packaging and Labeling team, guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports.
The Product Packaging Sustaining Engineer will engage with franchises and represent the Packaging and Labeling function to develop strategies, project plans, and execution of project plans to meet franchise development needs.
This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of packaging and labeling, and experience working in a regulated industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
- Leading cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
- Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Managing and developing a team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Licenciature or master's degree in Engineering or related disciplines with 7-9 years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Must have experience within the Medical Device industry working with Packaging R&D or Sustaining Engineering.
