At Samtec, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled EDI/B2B Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless EDI transactions with our trading partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and resolve EDI exception errors on daily reports to minimize errors.
- Provide support to internal departments on B2B-related queries and concerns.
- Act as a liaison between our company and external B2B trading partners, resolving production issues and testing transactions.
- Educate trading partners on EDI procedures and best practices.
- Manage global issues affecting multiple trading partners and collaborate with third-party vendors.
- Test software upgrades, development changes, and new documents to ensure compliance.
- Implement current and additional transaction sets, maintaining EDI guidelines for all ANSI X.12/EDIFACT documents.
- Serve as an escalation point for the Functional Acknowledgment (997) Reconciliation process, analyzing and resolving technical issues.
- Conduct research on software and hardware products to inform purchasing decisions.
- Participate in daily audits of B2B processes, identifying and resolving errors.
- Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
- 2+ years of experience with EDI ANSI X.12/EDIFACT documents.
- Preferred experience with OpenText/GXS products.
- Working knowledge of B2B processes, programs, and edits.
- High level of initiative, self-management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
