About the Role:

The SAP Project Manager will lead SAP Transformation projects, implementing and improving PMO processes, ensuring resource planning, and coordinating product rollouts.

This involves:

  1. Implementing SAP Transformation projects with seamless results.
  2. Integrating Emerson standard PMO processes and tools (Waterfall & Agile) globally.
  3. Ensuring adequate resource and mobilization planning for project commitments.
  4. Leading the scheduling of development activities, providing status updates, and coordinating product rollouts.
  5. Implementing global processes and procedures as identified by business leaders.
  6. Reporting project development, success, and failure to leadership.
  7. Providing risk mitigation strategies for financial, business, legal, and schedule risks.
  8. Coordinating with teams for high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or a relevant field.
  2. At least 5 years of project management experience in an IT environment, with SAP project involvement.
  3. Extensive experience in executing SAP projects with ASAP/Waterfall methodologies.
  4. Understanding of business systems, software development lifecycle, and techniques.
  5. Experience in developing system documentation or training materials.
  6. Previous exposure to the manufacturing industry and project management needs.
  7. Ability to work in a global environment and partner with internal customers.
  8. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and ability to translate business requirements.
  9. Self-motivation, teamwork, problem-solving, and big-picture thinking.
  10. Effective oral and written communication in English and ability to interact with all levels.
  11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  12. Strong understanding of SAP management methodologies.
