This role as US Personal Banking (USPB) Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR)/Capital Planning Analyst involves planning and executing Capital Planning / CCAR / Financial Planning and Analysis activities to produce financial projections for USPB products. Key responsibilities include supporting efforts to enhance the Capital Planning / CCAR / FP&A model framework, aligning Strategic Plan and CCAR forecasting, standardizing supporting processes, tools/templates.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Execute the quarterly Capital Planning / business planning forecasting process and annual Recovery and Resolution Planning activities
  • Perform analysis of capital allocations and drive capital optimization strategies through enhancements of capital allocation methodologies
  • Collaborate with US consumer product partners and modeling teams to enhance US consumer Profit & Loss (PPNR) regression models
  • Analyze macro-economic scenarios, consumer behaviors, and trends, evaluate forecasting results, and document justification/rationale for overlays and adjustments to reflect business actions
  • Work collaboratively with US consumer product partners to develop deliverables, such as P&L results, forecasting analysis, trend comparisons
  • Prepare analytics and results to support presentations for senior management reviews, provide explanations of results in comparison to other forecasts and scenarios
  • Collaborate with USPB Finance team members, execute activities under tight deadlines
  • Support responses to stress testing requests from Model Validation teams, Internal Audit, Regulators, etc.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in financial analysis in a large corporate environment
  • 3+ years of banking experience and previous FP&A, CCAR / stress testing or similar experience preferred
  • Financial product knowledge, particularly in Consumer Banking preferred
  • Ability to translate financial schedules, complex consumer behavior, and business trends into meaningful and actionable presentation observations
  • Excellent quantitative/analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to details
  • Change agent mentality to drive process enhancements and simplification, demonstrated ability to lead
  • Ability to work independently, proven track record of solving problems and delivering solutions
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment within a matrix organization
  • Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills (VBA and Access a plus)
  • Knowledge of systems like Hyperion, SAS, Essbase, etc. a plus
