About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance department as an Assistant Vice President for Financial Planning and Analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of onshore analysts to support the production of P&L reporting and variance analysis against KPI's for 12 operating units within Moody's Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6 onshore analysts in supporting the production of P&L reports and variance analysis against KPI's for 12 operating units within Moody's Analytics.
- Act as the first point of review and work closely with the relationship management team to communicate key expense variance drivers and support ADHOC requests.
- Help consolidate and communicate the overall Moody's analytics expense story to cross-functional teams and the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Lead, supervise and review the preparation of the monthly reports and variance analysis that will help identify key focus areas for management.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline or progress toward equivalent accountancy qualification.
- Graduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or a finance equivalent function.
