**Job Overview**
At Moody's Investors Service, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Associate to join our Ratings Desk Services team. This role will play a critical part in conducting thorough analysis of bank loan information and ensuring compliance with global regulatory controls.
About the Role
This position involves supervising and analyzing bank loan data at initial and subsequent stages of the rating process. The successful candidate will conduct in-depth reviews of issuance/organizational documentation, identify market activity, and ensure adherence to internal credit policy requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure global regulatory controls (e.g., Dodd-Frank) and internal credit policy requirements are adhered to across the end-to-end ratings process
- Review, analyze, and interpret critical legal, contingency, or other provisions within deal documents (Credit Agreements, Term Sheets, Amendment documents, etc.)
- Monitor SEC filing, review, and flag subsequent bank loan events (Refinancing, Amendment, Amend & Extend, Re-Pricing, Bifurcation, Add-Ons)
- Where appropriate, resolve whether further analysis is required by rating analyst
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum undergraduate degree in Finance, Banking, Legal, Accounting, or a related finance-area, and 6+ months years of relevant experience. Familiarity with debt capital markets and prior experience in reviewing financial/legal documentation is preferred.
