Electronics Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Installation Technician to join our team at Sgf Global. This role involves ensuring the optimal installation and removal of HW components in our server systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer systems and be able to manage inventory within our System Of Record HW Database. They will also be responsible for documenting hardware for each platform on a Transfer Checklist before transferring it to our Long-Term Retention team.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background, preferably in electrical or electronic engineering, and experience supporting Engineering Activities in the Electronics Industry. Intermediate English language skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and remove HW components in server systems
  • Manage HW inventory within the System Of Record
  • Document HW for each platform

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School completion and Technical Degree in electrical, electronic, or related field
  • 1+ years' experience supporting Engineering Activities in Electronics Industry
  • Intermediate English Level

Desired Skills:

  • Windows OS, system BIOS configuration, and firmware programming
  • Remote Connectivity deployments - Test PC, Debug PC, Debug Peripherals, IP KVM, VNC, System Tracking
  • Lab test equipment (digital multimeters, XDP, Serial Debug, power supplies, etc)
  • Experience assembling/reworking standard computer systems from raw components
