**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. Our flagship brand, Marriott Hotels, is advancing the art of hosting so that our guests can travel brilliantly.

As a Pastry Specialist, you will play a key role in preparing breads and pastries, including doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.

You will review production sheets to understand the variety of baked goods to be produced daily and maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.

We offer a comprehensive training program to ensure your success in this role. You will work closely with our Chef to prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for delivering exceptional results.
