Job DescriptionThe Medical Device Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our medical device production process meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. This includes:
- Collaborating with engineers to address product reliability and quality issues;
- Processing returns from consignment and truck-stock inventories, including receipt, re-work, re-labeling, re-inspection, and inventory transfers;
- Assisting engineers with product testing and test method validations;
- Supporting activities related to equipment calibration, corrective/preventive actions, nonconformance reports, internal audits, and CAPA projects;
- Receiving and reconciling counts of returned goods;
- Inspecting returns and determining processing requirements to restore products to finished goods condition;
- Maintaining records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or quality assurance;
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or quality assurance;
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
